About Reliable Arts
Mike Lomax is the owner-operator of Reliable Arts Dental Laboratory. He has been a dental technician for over 32 years, and is a CDT specializing in ceramics. Mike has worked as a technician in a private practice hand in hand with a variety of successful clinicians. This experience brings a certain balance from the clinical side of dentistry. Mike also has managed larger labs such as Glidewell Laboratory back in the 80s. Mike also managed the Glidewell owned Smith-Sterling Laboratory from 1999-2006. Afterwards Mike started Reliable Arts in March of 2006 and now has a well trained staff of 35 employees. Mike’s goal is to provide dentists with a high quality, low cost alternative for fixed restorations. As the owner and operator of the lab you can call him anytime to discuss cases, quality, or service.
Reliable Arts uses one of the most sophisticated laboratory software systems in the world. With your personal pass code, you can do just about anything on line that you can imagine. You will be able to interface with our server and look at your bill, pay your bill, track a case, even enter your own cases before you ship them. After entering the case you are about to ship you can even print your Rx to send with it !! If we don’t receive your case the next day we will be alerted by the system to begin tracking the case right away, not 2 weeks later. We are located in San Jose, Costa Rica which is the capital. We are located very close to Invisalign. Invisalign has been in Costa Rica for over 8 years and is well known for it’s invisible orthodontic appliance. They, like us, chose Costa Rica for it’s abundance of highly trained dental technicians, and close proximity to our US based dentist customers.
